I know this was the multiplayer version of the game. Years later Im now wanting to give it a shot, but I will be playing solo. But from an overall effectiveness point of view Wolfgang and Maxwell are my favorites. I got Dont Starve Together awhile back to play with others. On a personal note, he's also the most interesting character from a lore standpoint and it's very nice to examine everything with him.Ī lot of character have fun mechanics that are really cool to explore in a solo run, such as webber or wurt. So if you want to make a mega base or a big project in general I'd say he's really the best. Maxwell is the best at gathering resources by a long shot. On that note, Wigfried might look decent but Wolfgang is better then her at most things and her downside is pretty big in my opinion. Wolfgang is by far the best damage output character and since a big part of the game is about combat he is great. If you already know most of the game and want to make a try hard world, then Wolfgang or Maxwell would be my options. If you're starting out Wilson is probably the best because you'll get the standard experience. It came out on Mac and Linux after being finalized on Windows. However, sign-ups for a limited-access, closed Beta were released. It was originally scheduled to come out in Summer 2014, though a specific date was not given. Default is DS values for 1 player, and DST values for 6 players.

This mod automatically adjusts the health of mobs depending on the number of active players, everytime a player joins or leaves. He is, but atleast he has permament movement speed bonus and double damage. So then Wolfgang is also the worthless noob character who offers nothing unless you collect too much and facetank. Note: Wolfgang is about to get a rework so anything I write here about him may change. Dont Starve Together is the sequel to Dont Starve, and features the requested multiplayer mechanics.
